1. Service Overview

The Little Ironing Company provides a home-based ironing service for local clients, operating by drop-off and collection only. All items are handled with care and attention.

2. Care of Garments

All garments are ironed strictly in accordance with the manufacturer’s care label.

If a garment does not have a care label, it will be ironed at the client’s own risk.

Clients are responsible for ensuring garments are suitable for ironing.

3. Delicate & Special Items

Extra care is taken with delicate fabrics, embellishments, vintage items, and specialist materials.

Please inform us in advance if items require special attention.

We cannot accept responsibility for damage caused by fabric weakness, age, wear and tear, or pre-existing faults.

4. Pre-Existing Damage

The Little Ironing Company cannot be held responsible for:

Existing stains or marks

Heat damage already present

Weak seams, thinning fabric, or defects not visible prior to ironing

5. Liability

While every reasonable care is taken, liability is limited to the cost of the ironing service provided for the affected item.

We do not accept responsibility for consequential loss.

6. Collection & Inspection

All items should be checked at the time of collection.

Claims cannot be accepted once items have left the premises.

7. Booking & Payment

Drop-off and collection times are agreed in advance.

Payment terms will be confirmed at booking.

8. Acceptance of Terms

By using The Little Ironing Company, clients confirm they have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
